Environment concept for the game "project phoenix" of aninogames. A Gentech Lab distroyed by terrorist attack.
I did the coloring and painting in PS and my colleague(mike velasco) did the concept lineart in pencil, i used custom brushes and some of textures found in the internet.

Hi to all, just want to share this my new painting entitled "Progeny".

The tribal girl Aya, after becoming pregnant with the demon king's child, undergoes a fearsome transformation. The child that she now carries is the source of her gift of foresight. Two things she has forseen: first--her child will set her free from her unearthly prison by destroying the demon king's power, the second--souls numbering thousands will die from her child's eventual reign of terror on the earth.
Only she can decide her own fate and the fate of many.

This is a portrayal of a �Balbal� a demon king who was obsessed to a local tribe girl named �Aya�. Through his devilish powers he forces her in marriage and take her to the
underworld to be his wife or otherwise be his servant for the rest of her life if ever she refuse.

Here is a portrait of our ancestor "The Ibaloy Chief".
The "Ibaloy" is one of distinct groups of indigenous people in the Cordillera.
Ibaloy people live in the southern portion of Benguet, Philippines.
Done in photoshop CS + wacom.

A story between two lovers whom LOVE for each other are tested by Heavens. In where Trust , Faith and Endless LOVE are the only thing they hold on to in order to endure all the pains, surpass all obstacles just to save the ONE they LOVE.
Its about a couple who are so in love with each other but unfortunately is destined to be separated because of the un curable sickness of the guy. From the very start they promised that what ever happened even if after life they will find each other again and continue their LOVE Affair. The dreadful day came as the LOVER took their last embrace and ended their romance with their last Kiss. Before his last breath he said to the girl that he will be waiting for her in his next life and there will be none but her will replace his heart. Time pass but still her heart was filled with his memory. Day after day she finds herself loosing hope so she decided to kill herself.
For this, her soul drifted into the air , lost between time and finally find her self trapped into Hades keeping her along with her sadness, guilt and loneliness for the consequence of what she has done.
As for the guy, as soon as he found out what happen to her love one, he asked the highest how he can save his love one from the fire of Sheol. And because of her persistence a secret was revealed to him. In the pit of darkness he will then start his journey towards the lake of fire of the netherworld where he will have to meet Beelzebub�s right hand.
In order to save her, he was given a choice in where he will trade his soul and be a servant of all evil, and in return freedom for the soul of his LOVER."

The Story:
After the Spanish arrested Rizal in July 1892, Bonifacio decided that the Philippines would only achieve independence through revolution. On July 7, 1896 he founded the Katipunan a secret society open to both peasants and the middle class that employed Masonic rituals to impart an air of sacred mystery. It insinuated itself into the community by setting up mutual aid societies and education for the poor. By 1896, the Katipunan had over 30,000 members and functioned at the national, provincial, and municipal levels.
The Katipunan was a secret society founded in the Philippines by Andr�s Bonifacio aimed towards liberating the country from the Spanish colonizers. The name Katipunan is actually a shorter version of the official name, which is in Tagalog: Kataastaasang, Kagalanggalangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan (roughly translated as The Most High and Most Noble Society of the Children of the Nation). The Katipunan is also known by its acronym, KKK.
On August 30, 1896, Andres Bonifacio (The Father of the Katipunan) and his best friend, Emilio Jacinto, fought the first battle of the Philippine Revolution. Leading an army of eight hundred men, they attacked a gunpowder storehouse in San Juan del Monte. Today the place is called Pinaglabanan, meaning battlefield. The storehouse was an important military post for the Spanish army, but it was defended by only a hundred men. Outnumbered, the Spaniards retreated to El Deposito, the place where the Spaniards stored the water supply for the city of Intramuros.
